Ed Wittneaur
Jr. Vice Commander - Marines

Ed is a lifelong Hubbard resident, who graduated from Hubbard High School in 1973.  In 1972, Ed was inducted into The United States Marine Corps in Cleveland, Ohio with and MOS of 0351 USMC Infantry Assaultmen.  His boot camp experience took place at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California.  His training over the course of his service included:  School of Infantry, Infantry Anti-Tank Missleman, Platoon Leadership, Marine Security Guard, and Recruiters School.  Ed spent three of his enlisted years at the 1stMarine Corps District in New York as a Marine Corps Recruiter.  He was discharged from Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina at the rank of Master Sergeant in 1993.

Ed actively served for 20 years and accumulated various awards including: the Navy Unit Commendation Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commedation Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Medal, Marine Corps Recruiter Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal Government of Kuwait.
